Le Jeune Homme et la mort eternelle

Le Jeune et La Mort is on stage in these days at Teatro alla Scala (Milan, Italy) featuring Roberto Bolle (28, 29 May 2014) and Ivan Vasiliev (30 May; 1, 4, 5, 7 June) the two heirs of Rudolf Nureyev and Mijaíl Baryshnikov.

One of the most acute, moving and tormenting ballet by Roland Petit, choreographed in 1946 on Bach’s Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor, with a one-act libretto by Jean Cocteau. It tells the story of a Young Man driven to suicide by his faithless lover.
